Terms and Conditions of Bouncy Castle Hire

As well as providing high quality inflatables for children and adult parties Bexley Castles is keen that everyone who uses our equipment does so in a safe manner to limit the opportunity of injury or damage whilst maintaining an enjoyable time.

When booking a bouncy castle with Bexley Castles whether by phone, online booking tool, social media, text or any other means you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Booking fees are taken upon booking to reserve the chosen inflatables, the amount is deducted from the total balance. Booking fees are non refundable. In the event of cancellation, more than one week from the hire date, you will be offered to transfer the booking fee amount to a new booking on another date within 6 months. Cancellations within one week of the booking date are charged at the full amount. For multiple and/or event bookings cancellations within one month of the hire date are charged at the full amount.

In the event rain is forecast for the hire date Bexley Castles allows you to phone and cancel your booking up to 24 hours before the stated delivery date and time and transfer the initial booking fee to a date within 6 months. If you choose to outright cancel and not rearrange the booking fee is non refundable. Cancellations due to rain within 24 hours of the delivery date and time are not transferable and are charged at 100% of the full hire fee due to the operational costs incurred by Bexley Castles. If you go ahead with your hire we are not responsible for the weather.

Upon booking it is the hirers responsibility to ensure the chosen inflatable fits in the required space. If we arrive and the desired space is too small or unsuitable there will be a 100% cancellation charge. We still have to pay our staff and fuel costs as well as the loss we incur as the item could have been hired at full cost to another customer. Please make sure access is clear by moving bins, rubbish or furniture as we require a trolley width's space. The area to be free of litter, rubbish and animal foul. We will not set up on muddy areas, rubble sites or over the top of bonfire remnants. Any overhanging bushes or tree branches to be cut down prior to delivery. Please ask for advice before booking if you're not sure. Similarly if we arrive and you have double booked with another company we charge a 100% cancellation fee for the same reasons.

Payment for outstanding balances are made by cash or card on delivery. Drivers are unable to leave the products without taking payment in full in the morning.

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable.

Please ensure the following guidelines are followed at all times:

No shoes, No food or drink, No spectacles, No water, No sand, No pets, No smoking, No silly string, No Confetti, No jewellery, No face paint should be used on or near the inflatable.
Each unit has an age limit and maximum number of users, which need to be abided by. Furthermore avoid mixing larger children with small ones. No adults allowed unless otherwise stated.
A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls is not permitted.
The site should be cleared of any hazards such as dog mess, washing poles, glass and stones etc. and open sides of the inflatable should be well cushioned if there is no provision for this in the design of the inflatable.
The vent to the side of the blower needs to be kept clear at all times.
The equipment is to be erected and anchored in accordance with the manufactures instructions and should not be used in severely high winds or wet conditions contravening manufacturer guidelines. Customers should make regular checks to ensure stakes are firmly in the ground.
Nobody is allowed onto the inflatable whilst inflating or deflating.
The hirer shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement, and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way. Any damage to equipment caused by misuse or neglect, or loss due to removal by non-authorised persons, shall deem the hirer/operator liable for full repair or replacement costs and loss of business.
Please ensure inflatable is ready for collection at pre agreed time in the condition it was left. Delays caused by the hirer or guests will be charged at £50 per hour or equivalent rate.

Please note that all persons using our products do so at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible for any damage or injury occurred as a result of misuse.

Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using the equipment. Management have the final say on any decisions.
